ZILPHA'S LEFT FOOT: JostFoto
Elements of chance, spatial theatre and a twisted sense of humor.
If I had to describe my modus operandi as a photographer, I would say serendipity, intuition and epiphany are the key alchemical elements in creating a golden image.
Contrary to the philosophy one should carry along a camera at all times, I have sporadic bouts of inspiration. These episodes happen while traveling, exploring new vistas---but, they can just as easily occur while gazing upon an ordinary object or scenario with an expectation of the extraordinary.
It’s as if the camera acts as a compass, a divining rod that ferrets out the latent image waiting to be exposed---
a found vision, as it were.
